Flower essences are a system of self-healing and maintaining your wellness.

During a consultation we will discuss any emotional or physical problems you may be experiencing.  I may ask you specific questions to better understand the underlying cause of the emotions involved. Then I will recommend the flower essences which would be most helpful to you in your healing, explaining to you how I chose those particular essences.  By sharing my knowledge of flower essences with you, you will be empowered to refer to them in the future for your own self-healing.

What exactly are Flower Essences and how do they work? The Bach Flower Essences are formulas made from the flowers of 38 different healing plants. They are a form of vibrational medicine and each flower essence serves to balance a specific emotional state.  They provide safe and effective relief from the stress of everyday life.

The Bach Flower Essences are a safe and natural method of healing. Unlike most herbal preparations (Herbal medicine, Aromatherapy) which procure the medicinal properties by extracting the oil or drying the leaves and root of a plant, Dr. Bach's flower essences are different - they are an extract of the healing properties or "energy" of the plant.

The Bach Flower Essences are made from spring water and wild flowers. The essence, or healing properties of the flowers are absorbed into the spring water either through being placed in the sun for several hours, or by boiling. The Essences also contain a very small amount of grape brandy as a preservative, but can be applied topically if there is a sensitivity to alcohol.  These essences are hand produced exclusively in England.

The healing properties extracted cannot be measured like a drug or chemical.  But their healing energies lift our vibrations and help clear our energy.  They gently restore the balance between mind and body by casting out negative emotions, such as, fear, worry, hatred and indecision which interfere with the equilibrium of the being as a whole. The Bach Flower Essences allow peace and happiness to return to the sufferer so that the body is free to heal itself.

Who discovered Bach Flower Essences?

Dr. Edward Bach was a British Physician, who began to see disease as an end product; a final stage; a physical manifestation of unhappiness, fear and worry. He therefore, began to look to nature to find healing flowers. Over a period of years Dr. Bach found 38 healing flowers and plants that with the right preparation became the 38 Bach Flower Essences. These Essences address and help to remove all negative emotional problems.
